Graduate Development Scheme - Guidelines
The Programme is a three-year long programme, which includes and focuses on various activities designed to promote motivation, continuous learning and knowledge sharing between our junior staff and senior managers. We recognise that ‘knowledge transfer’ is crucial for the share of ‘best practice’ across the business, as well as to retain and maintain our valuable in-house skills. In summary, the Graduate Development Programme includes a mentoring scheme, a ‘buddying’ scheme and various learning and networking events.
Graduate Recruitment
Graduate Recruitment is a good channel to bring in to the company new talent and fresh ideas. Graduate candidates normally possess enthusiasm and drive and are generally characterised by having great potential. We believe that Graduates are normally bright individuals willing to excel and prove their capabilities, which we recognise as an opportunity to train and develop them accordingly to the Company’s requirements and culture. Graduate recruitment might be seen as positive action that objectively justifies the Company’s strategy to ensure a more diverse workforce.
The Murphy Group is an Equal Opportunity employer and we therefore value and promote diversity in our workforce and aim to reflect the communities where we operate through the people we employ.
Retaining Graduates
Graduate Recruitment starts with sourcing valuable Graduate candidates and we want to make sure that we retain our talent through development opportunities, competitive package and by providing the Graduates with the opportunity to prove their capabilities and test their competencies.
